November Meeting

Our book club meeting was held at the home of Rosemary Polinik. We had a wonderful meal including two recipes mentioned in the book "Can't Wait to get to Heaven" by Fannie Flagg - Heavenly Carmel Cake and Deviled Eggs. The Heavenly cake was a devil of a cake to make since it was "made from scratch" and required several siftings plus the "making a roux" - who does that anymore? I was pleasantly surprised that it turn out OK.

We will take a break in December because of the Holidays and our next meeting will be January 15th at Edna Miller's. "The Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon is our next book to read.
