We met at Roe's house for Book club on Thursday , May 15th. The book “One Thing of Value" by John Mincarelli , was the book of the month. It is a compelling narrative of love and relationships that are considered forbidden , endearing and everlasting . I had read several books by this author. The topics varied and I found the authors writing enjoyable and thought provoking. We had a good discussion. I think most of us liked the book .
We enjoyed a baked ziti dish (thank you Drika for the recipe ) meatballs , salad and a variety of desserts. We missed Pat, Rene , Drika and Louisa .
